11-year-old boy fatally injured after cricket ball strike him in western India
In a tragic incident in western India’s Maharashtra, an 11-year-old boy named Shourya, lost his life while playing cricket.
The incident took place in Lohegaon area of Pune on May 2.
Visuals showed Shourya playing with his friends during a cricket practice session. As Shourya bowled the ball, the batsman struck it directly towards him, hitting him forcefully in his private parts. Within moments, Shourya collapsed on the ground, prompting his friends and fellow players to rush to his aid.
Despite being rushed to the hospital, it was too late for Shourya, and he was pronounced dead upon arrival. The sudden and tragic loss of Shourya, a budding cricketer, has sent shockwaves through the community.
