Herd of elephants spreads panic, strays in middle of road in northeastern India

There was panic among the locals after a large herd of elephants were seen in the middle of the road in northeastern India’s Assam.

The incident took place near National Highway 29, Golaghat district on November 21.

Visuals showed the large herd of pachyderms crossing the road. Some of them were seen roaming around in the middle of the road.
