Celebration in western India as country gets its first-ever Apple store

India got its first Apple store in western India’s Maharashtra.

This incident happened in Bandra Kurla Complex in Mumbai on April 18.

 

Visuals showed the people walking into the Apple store as they were greeted with loud cheers from its employees. Apple CEO Tim Cook was present at the venue and people gave him a warm reception too. Some walked up and clicked selfies with him. There were also artists who gave this event a celebratory touch with their performance. The audience at the spot also were entertained by a performance from the drummers and trumpeters. The grand opening of the store also saw a number of celebrities show up as well.

 

Also, a person who had a 1984 Mac, was seen handing it over to Cook. Earlier, Indians had access to Apple products through resellers or the online market. The second Apple store will be opened in Delhi on April 20.
