Fire blast engulfs illegal market in northern India, several shops damaged
In a devastating incident, a fierce fire broke out in an illegal market in northern India’s Uttar Pradesh, leaving multiple shops charred.
The incident took place in Golf City, Noida on May 7.
Visuals showed in a market, a sudden blast occurred, engulfing the area in a terrifying fire. The aftermath was chaotic, with people panicking and running in all directions.
The illegal market, situated at Plot Number 8 in Golf City, Noida, became engulfed in flames due to unknown reasons. Within moments, the fire spread to five to six shops, reducing them to ashes. Additionally, three cylinders exploded in the aftermath of the fire. Fortunately, residents of the nearby society escaped unharmed.
Reports suggest that despite repeated complaints from locals, the Noida administration had not taken any action against this unauthorized market. Currently, efforts are underway by the firefighting department to bring the blaze under control.
The incident raises questions about the safety regulations and monitoring mechanisms in place for such establishments. Authorities are expected to conduct a thorough investigation to determine the cause of the fire and prevent similar incidents in the future.
