A child sleeping peacefully beside his parents falls victim to a heartless thief in northern India’s Uttar Pradesh.
The incident took place at Ramchandra Shukla Chowk in the Bhelupur area of Varanasi on May 14.
Visuals showed a poor couple, along with their young child, were peacefully sleeping on a mat by the roadside. The atmosphere was serene when suddenly two men arrived. One of them swiftly lifted the child, and both of them quickly fled from the scene, disappearing into the distance.
According to reports, the child was stolen on the night of May 14, and the victim lodged a complaint with the police on the morning of May 15.
Based on the CCTV footage, the police will proceed with further investigation and take necessary actions.
