Alert policeman comes to the aid of man who slipped while boarding moving train in southern India

An alert Railway Protection Force cop came to the aid of a man who had slipped while boarding a moving train in southern India’s Kerala.

This incident happened at platform number one of Trivandrum Central Railway Station on August 31.

CCTV footage captured the chilling moment when the man lost his balance and fell down when he attempted to board the moving train (16823 Ananthapuri Express). Identified as a 72-year-old named Dasan Nadar, the man held on to the handle of the train’s gate and didn’t let go while the lower part of his body slid into the gap between the vehicle and the platform. The RPF cop, constable Sri Sibi John was quick to react to this as he pulled the man out of harm’s way, thereby preventing him from sliding completely into the gap, which could have ended his life.

He then helped the man get back on his feet. As per a report, Nadar was travelling with his family to Trichy when this happened. He escaped unhurt thanks to the cop and also the train manager had stopped the vehicle as this happened.
