Auto driver knocks down techie after latter opts for cheaper ride in southern India

An auto-driver knocked down a techie in southern India’s Karnataka after he opted for a cheaper ride.
This incident happened in sector one of HSR Layout of Bengaluru on May 24.
CCTV footage captured the whole incident when the auto-driver knocked down the man. The two were seen in a conversation which might have turned ugly, leading to the accident.
The auto-driver could have lost his cool and took this step of knocking the man down, after the latter opted for a cheaper ride through a bike ride app called Rapido. The man was seen walking away after their conversation and waiting for his ride when the auto-driver knocked him down. He fell to the ground and got up seconds later.
According to a report, the police are reportedly in the lookout for the auto-driver.
