Bull rescued after it fell into open well in central India
A bull was rescued after it fell into an open well in central India’s Madhya Pradesh.
The incident took place near Purani Basti of Shahdol district on May 17.
Visuals showed the bovine lying inside the dry well after it had fallen. The animal didn’t move much and it seemed it was weak and potentially injured. The bovine was tied with ropes and a thick bamboo stick was used, as support. The massive creature was pulled out of the well with a lot of effort. Later an excavator was used to close the dry well.
A small crowd had also gathered at the spot as they watched the rescue operation take place.

According to reports, the rescue operation was conducted by the Atal Kamdhenu Gau Seva Sansthan. Due to the fall, his spine, and thigh bone were broken and his genitals were injured. After treatment, he was shifted to an institute.
