Bus gets stuck in flooded area in southern India
by Surya PrakashAs southern India reels from the devastating impact of this monsoon, an incident has come to the fore of a bus getting stuck in the flooded area in the state of Telangana.
This happened in Mahabubabad district on July 26.
Visuals showed the bus stuck in the heavily-flooded area. The vehicle was stranded in the middle of the road which was completely inundated. The downpour continued even at this time with officials present on the spot to work out a solution. The situation was made even worse with it happening in the dark. Water flowed in a strong current in the area. According to a report, it was learnt that the bus was travelling from the Yellandu town in Bhadradri Kothagudem district to Mahabubabad when this happened.
