Three people were rescued from a car that fell into a ditch in northern India’s Uttarakhand.

The incident happened at a ditch near the Gular bridge connecting Beasi and Shivpuri in Dehradun district when the car was coming from Pauri towards Rishikesh on October 10.

Visuals showed the State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) team at work as they rescued the three trapped inside the four-wheeler. The three people were pulled out of the ditch using a rope. According to a report, the car got stuck in a tree inside the ditch around 20 metres below. The three trapped inside the vehicle sustained injuries and they also panicked. But the SDRF team, led by Suresh Prasad, carefully took them out of the ditch.

The three have been identified as Vikram Singh, Kishan Lal and Anil Kumar, who was the driver.
