Clash between pilgrims and police intensified at place of worship in western India

In a shocking incident, a huge clash was seen unraveling between pilgrims and police at a place of worship in western India’s Maharashtra.
The incident took place in Pune city on June 11.
As per reports, a clash between pilgrims and police was seen at Alandi temple. The chariots of several gods were supposed to leave the temple and passes for only 75 pilgrims were allowed, which led to the disagreement. The pilgrims were seen trying to break down the barricades and forcefully enter the temple as police used force to stop them.
While there are accusations of lathicharge held against the police, there are no reports of any injuries to any pilgrim after the incident.
