Close shave as man escapes falling into gap after pavement collapses in southern India

A man escaped an accident after a pavement, that he walked on, collapsed, forming a huge hole in southern India’s Andhra Pradesh.

The incident happened on July 26.

Visuals showed the man casually walking on a concrete slab while seemingly heading towards a shop. He crosses the pavement right outside the shop and in a matter of seconds, the path he walked on, collapses and opens up while forming a huge hole. 

It was indeed a close shave for the man, who found himself to be on safe ground, only by a few inches. 

Shocked at what had transpired, he remained static for a few seconds before people came out of the shop to witness what had happened
