Cop’s scooter loses control, rams into median barricade in northern India

This incident took place in the Pragati Maidan tunnel on April 27.
Visuals showed the chilling moment when the accident took place. The cop, a sub-inspector, was seen bouncing off the barricade after colliding with it and falling flat on the road. His scooter was flung away due to the impact of the accident. An auto-rickshaw followed the scooter as it crashed into the barricade, leading to this accident. As per a report, the cop who died was identified as Sub-inspector N.K. Pavitharan, a part of East Delhi district’s crime team. This accident happened when he was headed towards the IP extension from India Gate and he lost control after taking a left-turn in the tunnel.
