A significant incident occurred at a medical college in northern India’s Uttar Pradesh, where an explosion and subsequent fire erupted in the air conditioning system.
The incident took place in Meerut Medical College on May 31.
Visuals showed how the entire place got engulfed in fire the fumes damaging the entire building. The fire was traced to a malfunction involving six air conditioning units that were improperly connected using dual wiring, which led to the overload and explosion.
Authorities report that the fire was quickly brought under control, and fortunately, there were no casualties. The college’s administration is currently investigating the cause of the faulty wiring to prevent future incidents.
