Fire breaks out at petrol pump in southern India

An 18-year-old woman died after fire broke out at a petrol pump while filling petrol in southern India’s Karnataka.
This happened in Badavanahalli village of Tumakaru district on May 14.
CCTV footage captured the whole incident when fire broke out suddenly when the employee of the station was filling in a two-wheeler with petrol. The fire broke out and in a matter of seconds, it spread, also catching the woman who was seated on the bike. She tried to run away by quickly de-boarding the bike but the fire caught her too. The burning bike fell and the petrol pump employee too ran away from the spot. Seconds later, the fire on the bike was put out with the help of a fire extinguisher.
According to a report, the two were rushed to a hospital  where the 18-year-old, named Bhavya, lost her life. Another lady, Bhavya’s mother, who was with her at the time of the accident, is seriously injured and undergoing treatment.
