The blaze began in the afternoon, quickly spreading through the venue. Firefighters arrived promptly on the scene and battled the flames for several hours before bringing the situation under control.

Authorities have reported no fatalities so far, though several people were treated for smoke inhalation and minor injuries. The cause of the fire is currently under investigation, with initial reports suggesting it may have started due to an electrical short circuit.

Peeragarhi Chowk is a prominent area in New Delhi, known for its busy streets and numerous commercial establishments. The fire has disrupted traffic and local businesses, with roads in the vicinity temporarily closed to facilitate emergency services.
