Fire officials rescue dogs trapped amidst flood in northern India

As northern India’s Delhi and other regions get lashed by heavy rainfall, a heartfelt incident has come to the fore of a fire brigade officials rescuing dogs that were trapped in the flood.

This happened in Bela road, behind Red Fort on July 14.

 

 

Visuals showed the officials rescuing the trapped canines who were sitting on a stack of sacks with water all around. One of these officials stood on top of the sacks and slowly lifted up each dog and put them on the boat which was used to conduct the rescue operation. One of these dogs was a bit resistant as it was being lifted from over the sacks but eventually complied after the man patted it with care and picked it up.

Northern India has been reeling with problems caused by heavy rainfall, the likes of which include flood, landslides among others.
