Fire service officials rescue horse after it gets trapped in a swamp in northern India

Fire service officials came to the aid of a horse after it got trapped into a swamp in the middle of a field, in northern India’s Uttar Pradesh.

This incident took place in Ramleela Maidan in Rae Bareli district on January 5.

Visuals showed the horse sitting in the pool in the middle of the field. A few men hurled stones at the animal from a distance initially to figure out if it was sitting trapped or not.

Later on, the officials rushed to help the horse out of the swamp. A rope was tied around the lower half of the horse’s body and pulled out. But the effort turned out to be futile as the animal fell back into the swamp. The officials didn’t give up though and once again attempted to rescue the horse and this time their effort bore fruit. The horse was safely brought out of the swamp by the Rae Bareli fire service officials.
