In southern India’s Tamil Nadu, Nag Ashwin’s highly anticipated sci-fi thriller ‘Kalki 2898 A.D.’ is generating significant excitement, particularly for its innovative AI-powered car, Bujji.

The incident took place in Chennai on May 28.

Developed by Indian automotive giants Mahindra and Jayem Automotive, Bujji is a key highlight of the film.

The car, weighing 6 tonnes, features custom-made 34.4-inch hubless rims at the front and a single rear wheel, allowing it to move freely in any direction. Its futuristic design includes a special canopy and an impressive size: 6075 mm in length, 2186 mm in height, and 3380 mm in width, giving it the appearance of a futuristic aircraft.

Powered by a 47kw battery setup, Bujji generates a maximum power of 126 bhp and a peak torque of 9800 Nm. Mahindra & Mahindra’s team at Mahindra Research Valley in Chennai played a crucial role in realizing the vehicle’s powertrain configuration, architecture, and performance. Jayem Automotives assembled the vehicle, ensuring that Bujji combines cutting-edge technology with imaginative design, making it a standout creation in ‘Kalki 2898 A.D.’
