Inquiry officer thrashes woman at bus stop in northern India

In a shocking incident, an inquiry officer was seen thrashing a woman passenger at the bus stop in northern India’s Uttar Pradesh.
The incident took place in Lucknow city on June 22.
As per reports, the woman had reached Kaiserbagh bus stop and reached the help desk for inquiry. After some dispute, the inquiry officer, Faiza Farooqui, can be seen thrashing the woman passenger by slapping and punching her. The fellow passengers were seen intervening in the fight and separating the officer from thrashing the woman.
There are no further reports on action taken against the woman by the police after the incident.
