Local people rescue a dehydrated parrot which fainted due to scorching heat in northern India’s Uttar Pradesh

The incident occurred in the Noida and its video went viral on May 31.

Visuals show a parrot fainting due to scorching heat and dehydration. A man is seen pouring water on a parrot’s head to provide relief from the heat. Later the parrot is seen in a stable condition.

According to the reports, Due to the excess heat wave, Noida traffic police, and Noida authority have jointly arranged drinking water in earthen pots in different parts of the city and green nets have also been placed at major traffic signals for some relief for commuters from heat.

“Due to the intense heat and rising temperatures which are expected to further increase in the coming days, the Noida authority has set up a shelter home for the destitute to shelter them amid adverse weather conditions, said Noida authority’s chief executive officer Lokesh M.
