Massive storm hits eastern India, several houses blown away

A massive dust storm has struck eastern India’s Odisha.

The incident occurred in the Ganjam district on April 25.

The visuals vividly portray the devastating impact of a fierce storm on multiple houses. Tin roofs were forcefully torn off, and towering trees were snapped in half. The ferocious wind gusts reached such intensity that they enveloped the surroundings in a hazy, smoky atmosphere for a period. Notably, the imposing triangular pillar at Kali Temple Street was completely submerged under layers of soil.

The aftermath of the storm caused significant disruption to daily life. Fallen trees obstructed roads, impeding vehicular movement, while the disruption of power supply added to the challenges faced by the affected residents.
