Miraculous escape: mother-daughter survive car accident unscathed in northern India expressway

In a distressing incident on an expressway near northern India’s Uttar Pradesh, a Hyundai Creta car collided with a trolley loaded with bricks.

The incident took place on the Yamuna Expressway near Greater Noida on May 24.

Visuals showed the trapped mother helplessly sitting inside the car hardly being able to remain conscious and the trolley that the car hit, loaded with bricks.

The accident occurred when the car rammed into the trolley from behind, causing significant damage to the vehicle.

The crash left a mother and her daughter stranded inside the mangled car. Bystanders and emergency responders faced considerable challenges while extricating the injured duo from the wreckage. Both were eventually freed and taken to a nearby hospital for treatment. Their current condition is yet to be reported.

The Yamuna Expressway, a major roadway connecting Greater Noida and Agra in northern India, is known for its high-speed traffic. Despite being a crucial route, it has been the site of numerous accidents, often attributed to over-speeding and lack of vigilance.
