Mother bear, cubs captivate tourists at central India’s tiger reserve

In the heart of central India’s Madhya Pradesh,  the renowned Bandhavgarh Tiger Reserve is celebrated globally for its majestic tigers.

The incident took place in Bandhavgarh Tiger Reserve in Umaria district on May 28.

Visuals showed how the mother bear carried her cubs on the back in the woods.

However, it’s not just the tigers that draw attention. Recently, tourists were treated to an extraordinary sight of a mother bear tenderly carrying her cubs on her back. This heartwarming scene unfolded in the Magadhi zone of the reserve, where the mother bear was seen strolling through the forest with her two cubs clinging to her back.

Visitors on a safari, enjoying the natural beauty and wildlife of the reserve, were delighted by this rare and enchanting display of maternal affection. The bear, with her cubs in tow, moved gracefully through the forest pathways before disappearing back into the bushes. While Bandhavgarh is home to a diverse range of wildlife, sightings of bears, especially during the day, are uncommon.

Bandhavgarh Tiger Reserve, known for both its herbivorous and carnivorous wildlife, has once again proven to be a haven of natural wonders and unforgettable experiences for nature enthusiasts.
