Officials rescue woman, infant stuck in flooded house in eastern India

A woman and his child who were stuck in an inundated house were rescued by the fire station team in eastern India’s Odisha.

The incident took place at Khetrapara Pradhan Sahi at Sundarpada in Bhubaneswar on August 17.

Visuals showed a group of people sitting on a boat along with the infant and the woman who were rescued. A man carried the infant out of the boat.

According to reports, the seven-day baby and its mother were rescued when they were in a very critical condition. Later, both were sent to the hospital.
