Rare hailstorm blankets village in central India

In a stunning display of nature’s power, central India’s Madhya Pradesh was hit by a heavy hailstorm, transforming the landscape into a winter wonderland.

This incident took place in Sadalpur is a Village in Dhar Tehsil in Dhar District on May 13.

Visuals showed the aftermath as a white sheet of snow covering the side of the highway, leaving viewers in awe.

The Meteorological Department has reported an active and robust weather system prevailing over Madhya Pradesh, resulting in adverse weather conditions expected to endure for the next five days. Today, rain and hailstorms have been observed in various parts of Madhya Pradesh.

During this duration, scattered light to moderate rainfall, along with thunder, lightning, and strong winds, is anticipated across different regions of Madhya Pradesh. The Meteorological Department has issued a warning regarding winds blowing at speeds ranging from 40 to 60 kilometers per hour during this period, particularly in the Malwa-Nimar region. An orange alert has been issued for possible rainfall, hailstorms, and strong winds in the region on Monday.

From Monday to Tuesday morning, several districts, including Khargone, Mandsaur, Khandwa, Barwani, Alirajpur, Jhabua, Neemuch, Dhar, Indore, Ratlam, Ujjain, Dewas, and Shajapur, may experience rain accompanied by strong winds. Additionally, some areas may also witness hailstorms.
