Rescue operation team saves people stuck in flood in northern India

In a valorous incident, the rescue operation team was seen rescuing people stuck in flood in northern India’s Uttarakhand.

The incident took place in Rishikesh city on August 9.

 

As per reports, police station Munikireti informed the SDRF team that people’s houses have been flooded due to the rise in water level due to heavy rainfall in the brackish source area of Rishikesh, in which the SDRF team was needed for the rescue of the trapped people. The SDRF launched relief and rescue operations along with SI Sachin Rawat where they bought rescue equipment immediately and rushed to the spot. The SDRF team reached the spot in the dark of the night and took quick action to rescue around 50 people from the submerged houses and took them to a safe place by raft. They took stock of the situation when water came from the jungle behind SBI Bank. The potential danger was eliminated by removing the water from the house with proper intelligence and efforts by the team.

The residents of the house expressed their gratitude to the SDRF rescue team.
