SDRF team successfully rescues two youths stuck in middle of river in northern India

In a proud incident, the rescue team was seen successfully rescuing two youth that were stuck in the middle of a river in northern India’s Uttarakhand.

The incident took place in Rudraprayag city on June 16.

As per reports, two youth, aged 18, residents of Nepal were stuck in the middle of the river. The State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) were informed about this situation after which they rushed to the spot to rescue the two. The team sub-inspector Dharmendra Singh rushed to the spot along with the team along with important tools required for the rescue operation. Upon reaching the spot, the two youths were seen stuck on the other side of the swollen river. The flow of the river was very fast, but, the rescue team without thinking twice reached the other side of the river and rescued them using lifeguards and rope and were brought back to the safe side of the river.

Both the youth are safe and the valorous act of the rescue team was applauded.

The rescue team included Sub Inspector Dharmendra Singh, Additional Sub-Inspector Sanjay Negi, Additional Sub-Inspector Harish Bangari, Constable Anoop Rawat, Constable Mukesh Kumar, Reserve Pawan and Technician Akshay.
