 In a tragic incident, a massive fire broke out in a chemical factory in western India’s Maharashtra.
The incident took place in Morya Global, a chemical company in ‘Sector D’ in Jalgaon on April 17.

According to reports, a boiler explosion occurred resulting in two fatalities and over 20 individuals sustaining serious injuries. The incident occurred at Morya Global Chemical Company located in ‘Sector D’ of Maharashtra Industrial Development Corporation in Jalgaon on Wednesday. Immediate rescue efforts were initiated following the incident.

Among the casualties, one of the deceased workers has been identified as Saadhan Patil, whose body was discovered charred in the fire. The boiler explosion, which occurred around nine in the morning, led to a severe fire engulfing the chemical company. At the time of the incident, the company had a total of 25 employees. The financial loss incurred due to the fire is estimated to be in crores. However, the exact cause of the explosion remains unclear.

More than 20 employees suffered serious injuries as a result of the fire, raising concerns about the potential for further casualties. The injured workers have been hospitalized and are currently receiving medical treatment.
