In a shocking incident, thieves were seen looting an ATM as they broke into using a gas cutter in western India’s Maharashtra.

The incident took place in Amravati district on May 12.

The visuals of the incident showed a bunch of thieves breaking into an ATM of a bank. The thieves used a gas cutter to get inside the ATM and looted money worth Rs.17 lakhs (USD 20,680).

The police have taken cognizance of the matter and further investigation is underway.
