Thirty workers miraculously escape massive fire in foam bed factory in western India

In a fortunate incident, the lives of 30 workers were saved after they escaped a massive fire at a foam bed factory in western India’s Maharashtra.

The incident took place in Thane district on July 12.

 

As per reports, a massive fire started at a foam mattress factory at 5:30 AM after a spark from the welding machine fell on foam. In a couple of hours, the entire factory was ablaze with workers still inside it. All the 30 workers however escaped the fire without any injuries and reported the incident to the fire brigade.

The fire brigade units of Ambernath, Badlapur, Kalyan, and Thane reached the spot and after hours of struggle were successfully able to douse the fire with about 60% of the factory gutted to ashes.
