Vehicles parked at police station catch fire in northern India

A number of vehicles which were parked at a police station in northern India’s Uttar Pradesh caught fire.

This incident happened at Daurala police station in Meerut on April 19.

Visuals showed the flames engulfing the parked cars at the police station. The blaze completely engulfed the area where the cars were parked and thick black smoke emanated from the space. The fire department officials were seen on a road just adjacent to where this fire broke out as they prepared to douse the flames. It was learnt that the fire caused a lot of chaos in the police station.

The cause of the fire is said to have been from a spark in the transformer and several fire engines rushed to the spot to tackle the inferno.
