Alert cop rescues man who slipped while boarding train in central India

A man slipped while boarding a train in central India’s Chhattisgarh.

The incident happened at Bhatapara Railway Station in the Baloda Bazar district on June 16.

CCTV captured that chilling moment when the man slipped while getting on the train. He got dragged for a few meters while the policeman was constantly running with him. In the end, the cop pulled the passenger away from the train and saved his life.

According to reports, the Railway Protection Force constable Rupak Kumar, was on platform duty when this incident took place. He showed courage and vigilance and saved the life of the passenger, identified as Lekharam Tandan. Tandan had slipped while boarding train number 22647 (Kochuveli SF Express).
