Bank robbery fails, robbers flee spot after police van siren goes off in southern India

In a shocking incident, an incident of bank robbery failed after the robbers fled the spot after hearing police van siren in southern India’s Andhra Pradesh.

The incident took place in Guntur district on September 4.

 

As per reports, a major theft attempt was attempted at HDFC Bank of the Mangalagiri area. Three thieves entered the bank by breaking the locks at 3:40 am at night. However, when they heard the siren of the police patrolling the vehicle, they fled the spot and ran from the place of the incident. The entire act was recorded on the CCTV camera.

The police have taken cognizance of the incident and have registered a case as further investigation is underway.
