Chilling moment man gets dragged by moving train after he slips while trying to board it in eastern India

A man in eastern India’s West Bengal was in for a painful and horrific experience after he slipped while boarding a moving train.

This happened in platform number three of Purulia railway station on April 27.

CCTV footage showed the man, identified as Md Sajid being dragged by the train (18183 Tata-DNR) and he held on to its gate after slipping while trying to board the vehicle. He was also perilously close to the gap between the train and the platform and could have fallen into it. The man could not be pulled out since the train was moving at a considerably high speed so the on-duty staff and guards called for the vehicle to be stopped.

Sajid was rescued after the vehicle was halted and he was taken and made to lie down on a seat at the platform where he was given primary treatment. He was then taken to the Deven Mahato hospital for further treatment.
