Elephant plucks jackfruits from tree in southern India

An elephant was seen plucking jackfruits from a tree in southern India’s Tamil Nadu.

This incident is reported to have happened in Valparai, a hill station located in the Coimbatore district on April 9.

 

Visuals showed the pachyderm plucking out jackfruits from the tree. It got up on its two feet, stretched out its trunk and got hold of the pair of mangoes from the tree. This appeared to have happened at a field. The visual was shot by Hadlee Renjith, who is a wildlife photographer and an animal lover. He has been featured in several publications, both national as well as international. Also, he owns a travel agency named ‘Resplendent Experiences’ through which he takes animal lovers like him for fascinating wildlife tours.
