Excavator chases away elephant from tea estate in northeastern India

An elephant was seen being chased away by an excavator in northern India’s Assam.
This incident happened at Bukhial Tea Estate in Golaghat district on June 7.
Visuals showed the excavator chasing the elephant in the area. The pachyderm was visibly threatened by the big vehicle and ran away from it in a bid to escape. At a distance, a herd of elephants were seen wandering and grazing in the massive area with long grass patches. People were present too as they watched this incident.
