In a tragic incident, fire broke out in a furniture showroom in northern India’s Uttar Pradesh.

The incident took place in Sector 10, Noida on April 10.

Visuals showed flames engulfing the entire showroom. Officials reported that upon noticing the fire spreading, local residents alerted the fire department. Subsequently, two fire engines were dispatched, successfully bringing the blaze under control within approximately an hour.

Authorities confirmed no loss of life, though goods worth lakhs of rupees stored within the company were consumed by the flames. Chief Fire Officer Pradeep Kumar Choubey stated that the fire incident occurred late Wednesday night at a shuttered furniture company in C Block, Noida Sector 10. Fire department personnel swiftly arrived at the scene and utilized water cannons to douse the flames.

Choubey emphasized that there were no casualties resulting from the incident. Preliminary investigations suggest that a short circuit may have triggered the fire, although officials currently lack clarity on the exact cause of the blaze within the closed company premises.
