Fire officials come to rescue of people trapped in flooded houses in northern India

Officials of the Barabanki fire services came to the rescue of people who were trapped in flooded houses in northern India’s Uttar Pradesh.

This happened in Barabanki district of the state on September 11.

Visuals showed the rescue operation in progress with the officials using a raft to bring the people to safety.

The whole area was heavily flooded but the officials ensured that the people were brought to safety.

The officials then helped the people out of the raft after taking them to a safe space.

As per a report, heavy rainfall led to flooding in houses around the Jamuria drain after which the fire officials stepped in to support.
