Fire officials comes to rescue after scrap warehouse catches fire in northern India
Firefighters rushed to rescue after a massive fire broke out in a scrap warehouse in northern India’s Uttar Pradesh.

The incident took place on Kasganj Road in Etah Kotwali rural area on April 5.

Visuals showed thick black smoke coming out of the warehouse. Officials were seen trying to douse off the fire.

Upon receiving the information, two fire tenders promptly arrived at the scene. After approximately half an hour of arduous efforts, the firefighters successfully brought the fire under control. The sounds of flames and tire bursts created an atmosphere of fear in the surrounding residential area for hours. In response to the perceived danger, local residents took precautionary measures by removing their gas cylinders and evacuating their homes.

In-charge fire officer Ketan Kumar said that no clear reason could be found for the fire. The warehouse was full of junk. The loss has not been assessed yet.
