Heartwarming! Residents of locality celebrates cow’s birthday with pomp in central India

Why should humans have all the fun? Well, that’s what the cow must be wondering after residents of a locality celebrated its birthday with pomp in central India’s Madhya Pradesh.

This heartwarming development is from Puri Colony, Aditya Nagar in Shajapur on December 7.

Visuals showed the locals celebrating the cow’s birthday. A yellow shawl was put on the calf’s back. A cake was brought and it was cut with people singing the ‘Happy Birthday’ song for the bovine. The cow was patted and caressed by the people who tested the animal with a lot of love and also fed it with leaves and the cake which was cut. An atmosphere of festivity and enjoyment prevailed in the area. As per a report, the cow was named ‘Purni’ by the locals in this place. The bovine was said to have taken birth on a full-moon, which is known as ‘Purnima’ in Hindi. Hence the name. Locals found it roaming on street number five and they took care of it and raised it. In no time, the calf became a darling in this place and it also used to have fun with the children.

On the day her birthday was celebrated, the people bathed her, washed her nicely and celebrated the special day with a lot of happiness and joy. Their celebration attracted a lot of people from thr colony gathered and watched.
