Horse rescued in central India after it fell into well

A horse was rescued in central India’s Madhya Pradesh after it had fallen into a well in central India’s Madhya Pradesh.

This happened in Shahdol district of the state on October 3.

Visuals showed the rescue operation underway to save the trapped horse. The animal reportedly didn’t spot the well as it was surrounded by grass and fell into it. Not just this but the horse remained trapped inside for three whole days. The information was shared with the Atal Kamdhenu Gauseva Sansthan who reached the spot and conducted the rescue. The organisation, headed by Gaurav Mishra, used ropes and sticks to bring the horse out of the well.

The horse was seen walking about in the well and chewing on the plants present there. It then stood on a lump of land at one side which is when these men lowered ropes and had then fastened onto the horse. It was a tough operation as the horse didn’t realise what was going on and instead took a round around the well before it was pulled out by the people, much to the relief of everyone present there. The rescue operation lasted for an hour.
