Leopard rescued from deep well in western India

A leopard was rescued from a deep well in western India’s Maharashtra.

The incident took place on September 11 at the Nhaveli village, in Sawantwadi region of Sindhudurg District.

Visuals showed officials pulling up a steel cage from the well, inside which sat the big cat.

The leopard snarled and tried to paw the cage walls, as a rooster, which was likely placed as a bet, crowed and tried to fly away.
