A massive IED explosion occurred in Pakistan, which led to the death of a journalist and nine others being injured.

The incident took place in the Chamrok area in Balochistan on May 3.

CCTV footage shows that a man riding a motorcycle attached a bomb to journalists car and detonated it after speeding away. Suddenly a huge blast happened.

According to the reports, the blast targeted the vehicle of Khuzdar press club president Maulana Muhammad Siddique Mengal.

The impact of the tragic explosion goes beyond Maulana Mengal, as nine others, including a brave policeman, sustained injuries in the blast. Their swift transfer to Khuzdar Teaching Hospital highlights the seriousness of the situation, with medical staff tirelessly providing vital care to the injured.

Maulana Mengal, also serving as the provincial deputy leader of the JUI-F, met his untimely end while on his way to participate in Friday prayers at a local mosque.
