A massive fire broke out at a garbage dumping ground in northern India’s Uttar Pradesh.
This incident happened at Noida Sector 32 Wave City project on May 18.
Visuals showed fire all over the garbage dumping ground as smoke emanated from the area. The smoke clouded this area as fire raged on, burning the garbage. According to a report, several fire tenders rushed to the spot after receiving information about this incident. Fortunately, there have been no casualties reported. But people in the area nearby this garbage dump, namely from sectors 29, 32, 34, Morna and Nithari areas are said to have been experiencing problems with breathing because of the smoke from the fire.
Shakti Awasthi, Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police Noida, said, “The fire broke out at a dumping ground in Noida sector-32. Efforts are on to extinguish the blaze. All the officials are present on the spot.”
