Massive fire erupts at school in northern India

A massive fire broke out at the Narayana Public School in northern India’s Uttar Pradesh.

This school is located in Sector 37 of Gurugram on April 16.

Visuals showed the fire on one side of the school building. The fire caused a lot of smoke to emanate from that particular side of the building and it triggered a lot of panic in the area. A group of people gathered in the area as the fire wreaked havoc in the school.

A report states that there weren’t any students in the school due to there being a change of timing, which led to no injuries and casualties in the fire. The blaze is said to have broken out  at the uniform store of the school and it led to uniforms and other items being burnt to ashes. After receiving information, two fire tenders from the Sector 37 fire brigade rushed to the spot in a bid to combat the flames. After two hours of hard work, the fire was doused. It was also learnt that the fire could have broken out due to a short circuit.
