Minor fire breaks out at under-construction flyover in northeastern India

A minor fire broke out at a flyover in northeastern India’s Assam, which is currently under construction.
The incident took place at Maligaon flyover in Guwahati on June 2.
Visuals shown in the middle of the flyover, a large trampoline sheet caught fire, sending flames dancing and licking the surrounding area. The fire had spread downwards, engulfing the road beneath, causing a chaotic scene.
Due to the fire, a traffic jam was formed on the road.
Sources said that the blaze erupted on a tarpaulin sheet during a welding process.
While the blaze isn’t major, sparks and debris were falling directly on passing vehicles.
Fortunately, no injuries or casualty was reported.The incident has caused traffic congestion in the area and efforts are on to douse the fire.
