Police inspector caught assaulting E-rickshaw driver in northern India

The incident took place in the Ghaziabad area on April 23.
Visuals showed on the roadside, a police officer was ruthlessly beating an e-rickshaw driver amidst a crowd of onlookers gathered around.
In Ghaziabad, a police inspector named Bhanu Prakash has been captured in a recently surfaced video brutally assaulting a 14-year-old e-rickshaw driver named Sohail, dragging him by his hair amidst traffic.
It is reported that this altercation stemmed from an argument. This isn’t the first time Prakash has been associated with such behavior in public; he has been previously accused of engaging in hooliganism.
Following the circulation of the video on social media, the official handle of Ghaziabad police has acknowledged the incident and stated that ACP Wave City has been tasked with investigating the matter and taking appropriate legal action.
