A BJP leader’s nephew was fatally shot in northern India’s Uttar Pradesh, as CCTV footage reveals the assailant firing shots after an altercation.

The incident took place in front of the Pallavi Hotel near the Dariapur area of Sultanpur on April 7.

Visuals showed on the road where several bikers are engaged in a heated argument with two individuals. Suddenly, amidst the escalating tension, the bikers draw their weapons and fire shots, resulting in one person collapsing to the ground, while another is left critically injured, after the shooting, the assailants swiftly flee the scene on their motorcycles, leaving behind a chaotic aftermath of the confrontation.

Meanwhile, relatives of Vijay Narayan Singh have demanded the removal of SHO Shriram Pandey, who is investigating the incident. The main accused has been arrested by the police. Just two days ago, Dr. Ghanshyam Tiwari, who was out on bail in the Sultanpur incident, was shot dead in front of the Pallavi Hotel near the Dariapur area of Sultanpur, Uttar Pradesh.

CCTV footage of this incident has also surfaced. In the CCTV footage, it is seen that after an argument with Ajay Singh Silawat, Vijay Narayan Singh was shot by the attacker who then fled on a motorcycle. The entire incident was captured by a CCTV camera installed on the other side of the road.

According to the police, the shooter is Ajay Singh Silawat, a resident of Maharua in Ambedkar Nagar, who was later arrested. Ajay Singh was also injured by gunfire. The injured attacker Ajay Singh has been admitted to the hospital for treatment. In the case of Vijay Narayan Singh’s murder, his relatives met with the police superintendent and demanded the removal of SHO Shriram Pandey, who is investigating the incident.

Relatives said that Vijay Narayan was implicated in the Ghanshyam Tiwari murder case and was sent to jail. Five cases were filed against him, and gangster-like actions were taken against him. His car and mobile phone were seized. Relatives demanded that the investigator and SHO Shriram Pandey be removed so that a fair investigation can be conducted. It should be noted that in the case of Vijay Narayan Singh’s murder, the police had filed a serious case against Ajay Singh, Jayant Mishra, Deepak Mishra, and Nisha Tiwari, the wife of the deceased doctor Ghanshyam Tiwari, along with his two brothers. The police took swift action and arrested the main accused Ajay Singh Silawat on Tuesday morning during a confrontation. Injured Ajay Singh is still undergoing treatment in the hospital.
