Rescue officials save stranded people, jawans from remote region in northern India

The SDRF officials came to the aid of 13 people, which included DDRF jawans stranded in a remote area in northern India’s Uttarakhand.
This incident is happened in Rudraprayag district late on June 12.
Visuals showed the SDRF officials save the ones stranded in the area. They were escorting them through very efficiently in the difficult terrain. Also with it being dark, the rescue operation was hampered. But they continued with it and eventually were able to save the ones stranded. According to a report, 11 people of Nepali origin were stranded six kilometres above Bhimbali on the Kedarnath Yatra route. They had gone to the area to cut grass. Tragically, of them slipped and fell resulting in his death. A three-man DDRF team then arrived at the spot for their rescue. But they were stranded as well in the area because of the darkness, which led the SDRF to be called upon.
The SDRF team arrived the spot along with ASI Pravindra Dhasmana along with four other DDRF jawans and started the rescue operation. They arrived at the spot which was about 15-16km away from Lincholi and saved the stranded. The SDRF team navigated through tough paths to safely rescue the 10 men of Nepali origin and three of the DDRF officials. They also brought out the dead body of the person who slipped and fell.
